STRENGTH OF STEEL JOINTS
• Diameter of bore should not exceed 60% of hub diameter “A”.
• Steel Universal Joints will transmit power equal to that of standard steel shafting of diameters up to 60% of the joint hub diameter, with joint operating at an angle of 25 degrees or less from a straight line.
• For selection of joints to operate at very high speed or at angles over 25̊, we recommended that you refer such cases to us for our recommendation.

LUBRICATION
• Universal Joints, size 1-1/2" hub diameter and larger, have a large grease reservoir in the center block
which permits full lubrication at all times. Joints 1-1/4" hub diameter and under are not supplied with oilers.
• All joints are fully lubricated before shipment.
• Disassemble of joints for alteration is not recommended. It is advisable to have the factory supply them to your specifications ready to use.
